Trudi Egi, Chief Executive Officer

Trudi Egi has had an illustrious career in the Banking Industry. He was previously with NDB and the PNG Institute of Banking & Business Management and holds an MBA from Torrens University Australia. Trudi is a key driver of rural development and digital financial services in MiBank.

Fulaiyo James, Chief Operation Officer

Fulaiyo has been in Banking over a number of years with BSP, PML and now MiBank. Her diverse experience spans Treasury & International, Lending, and Banking operations. Fulaiyo holds qualifications in Project Management including Prince2 certification and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Business through Torrens University Australia.

Christian Reyes, Chief Financial Officer

Christian joined MiBank in 2020 as Manager Finance & Planning and was elevated to the CFO role in August of 2024. Christian has vast international experience across a number of jurisdictions in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Polytechnic University and an MBA from the Philippine School of Business Administration. Christian is a member of CPA (PNG),an Associate member of CPA (Australia), a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Management Consultants.

Wendy Piskaut, Head of People & Culture

Wendy has held the current position since 2018. Wendy holds a Diploma of Accounting from IEA College of TAFE and a Certificate IV in Leadership & Management facilitated by the Business Coalition for Women. Wendy has also recently completed a Bachelor of Business through Torrens University Australia.

Shanti Yaganegi, Head of Risk

Shanti has an in-depth background in operational risk, AML/CTF, and compliance. Shanti came to MiBank from BSP where she was previously Team Lead for AML Sanctions & International Payments. Prior to working with BSP, Shanti also had experience with ANZ and Westpac in risk and compliance. Shanti holds a Diploma in Technology in Communication for Development and has certifications in AML, Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring. Shanti has also been a member of Westpac Niugini Toastmasters.

Steven Nori, Head of IT

Steven graduated from UPNG with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. He also holds an MBA from Torrens University Australia. Steven joined MiBank in 2009 and has been instrumental in MiBank’s growth in the digital space, whilst at the same time overseeing MiBank’s ICT environment.

Wayne Honeysett, Head of Credit

Wayne has been in Papua New Guinea for many years and has had extensive experience with a number of licensed financial institutions in the finance and credit area, including BSP, Fincorp, Kina Finance and Westpac. At MiBank Wayne champions the credit process and provides leadership to the branch management team.
